We lost one of our pets today. It is really suprising how something that fits in the palm of your hand can fill your heart so much. I miss her already.

Yeah, well life has been a bit busy in the last 2 months, and while intentions are great, they just don’t create content.

I want to share with you things like my move to a bigger office, how much I love and adore TiVo, project juggling 101, my cool toys, and all sorts of other kitchy stuff, but I just don’t have a lot of time. My days are filled with work, my weekends are mucked up with well, work, and there is little, if any time for socialization.

I do go to Chicago this coming week for HostingCON05 which will bring about some changes to one of my businesses, as well as later on in June getting ready to sell fireworks yet again. Whoo. Between that, putting out DVDs, slinging web pages and drinks, creating magazines, leaves me exactly 5 minutes in a week to do something non-work related. Like blog.

Oh crap. It’s been 6 minutes. I’ll have to skip breathing to catch up

Well, I’ve had some people ask, so I’m going to give a bit more clarification on the whole business name thing.

As of right now, I have at least 5 businesses that I either own, or have stake in (and another thats waiting in the wings). 2 hosting companies, my web design/IT Consulting Business, a small vending business and the business I use to run the fireworks stand each summer. (And some people say I have too much time on my hands!) Oh, I almost forgot the small stake I have in a local used book store.

Keep in mind, all of this pays the bills and thats about it. Ok, I do get to enjoy the occasional toy or two. Well, I want to get a merchant account, and so I can use it with all of the businesses, I wanted to come up with something to umbrella everything over. I also figured when I turn this hodge-podge into an LLC, it would make things easier too. Inetsis seemed okay, because of having both Internet and Genesis in it, like this whole thing was, IMHO the start of my career after college.

I had even at one point thought of turning it into an eBay auction, just to create some buzz (and work up some extra capital - we can all use that sometimes!), and I may still do it, but I wanted to get some guidance from my readers and friends. Well, I’m really really close to resorting to drastic measures - I run 3-4 different businesses and I want to come up with a name to encompass all of these (why? I’m getting a merchant account, and want to be able to use it for all of my businesses not just one) but it seems that I can’t seem to come up with a decent name.
